Makola in Accra

Coming from Motorway Extension, North Dzorwulu, we hired a car for 10 Cedis per hour and drived for 10 minutes to Accra's most popular market - Makola Market. You will find stores, informal stalls and walking vendors selling varied selection of arts and crafts in wood, leather and metal and a huge textile market. But remember, when you go shopping in Makola, just like in any other flea markets, try to bargain a lot. You know you get good price if you manage to put the price down to 70% or more from its original tag. I got my black elephant for 33 Cedis (roughly $22) from its 80 Cedis original mark.
